Description:	Terrestrial herb, 25-80 cm tall; tubers ovoid to globose; stems leafy, leaves 6-8, the lowermost sheathlike, the uppermost grading into the bracts; flowers few to several, green or green with white lip; dorsal sepal erect, lateral sepals rolled longitudinally; petals 2-lobed almost to the base, upper lobe filiform, attached to the dorsal sepal, lower lobe curving up, hornlike; spur 5.5-7.5 cm, pendant.

Derivation of specific name:	holubii: after Dr Emil Holub (1847-1902), Czech author, physician, naturalist and explorer in Southern Africa.
