Rhizome climbing to 3-4 m or scrambling around trunks; rhizome-scales narrow, deciduous, made up of thick-walled cells, some long fine outgrowths also present. Fronds widely spaced. Stipe absent or 0.5–1,5 cm long, articulated just above its insertion to the rhizome. Lamina pinnate, ovate-lanceolate in outline, 18–35 x 5–8 cm, pinnate; sterile pinnae 3.5 x 1 cm, alternate, sessile, articulate, obtusely trapezoidal in outline, unequal at the base, margin entire or slightly wavy, hairless; fertile pinnae elongate, narrower, slightly lobed; rhachis and base of the costa with short ferruginous hairs; nerves simple or forked. Sori kidney-shaped, terminal on the nerves, submarginal; indusium dark. |
