5 m high; Tree; Notes: Tree, 5m high. Stem: tomentose. Leaves: compound, leaflets sub-opposite, elliptic, leathery, undersurface tomentose, very short petiolate, petiole tomentose; rachilla thickened where it is connected to main rachis. Fruit: brown woody pod/ legume.

Herb, 0.10 m high. Leaves bicoloured, opposite, cordate, soft, margin hairy.

Suffrutex; Notes: Suffrutex plant. Stem: with hooked thorns. Leaves: opposite, tomentose, leathery, midrib undersurface with hooked thorns. Inflorescence: terminal raceme, flowers bright red. Filed at WIND as Erythrina decora but this is highly unlikely and the description rather fits E. baumii
