Creeper; Notes: Substrate creeper. Leaves lobed with undulate margins, covered in bristle hair on both surfaces. Short tendrils at axils and short roots which holds branches to soil surface. Flowers light yellow, 5 petals and 5 sepals which is small and green and covered with dense bristle hair. Flowers in leaf axils. Fruit round to elliptic and horned. Found in well-drained sandy soil next to road.

Shrub; Notes: Small shrub, 1 m high. Stems velvety and green with very light zig-zag growth. Leaves alternate, hard and fine hair on undersides. Oval in shape, petiole hairy and 1 cm long. Stipules present. Leaf base rounded and slightly mucronate apices. Flowers in leaf axils, 1.5 cm long stalk. White petals. Long white stigma bending away from yellow tipped anthers. 10 anthers. Pistil and stamens carried outside flowers. Flowers sweet smelling.

Creeper; Notes: Creeper-like plant. Stems covered in hard hair. Leaves ovate and opposite with slightly serrate margins. Tiny pink flowers with 5 petals, 6 stamens and pink pistil, flowers sessile in leaf axils. Common, grows in omuramba in clay soil.

10 cm high; Shrub; Notes: Small shrub, 10 cm high. Stem herbaceous and green. Short soft hair on stem and leaves. Leaves sessile with sheath and lanceolate. Yellow flowers. Scattered in soft sandy white soil.

15 cm high; Shrub; Notes: Tiny herbaceous shrub, 10 - 15 cm high. Stem herbaceous and green, some are squared. Leaves sessile, linear, light grey in colour, velvety below and shiny on top. Flowers in a whorl in leaf axils, sessile, 5 linear petals fused into a tube and yellow centre. Rare. Grows in omuramba in white sandy soil.

Shrub; Notes: Small herbaceous shrub, 30-40 cm high. Flowers tiny tubes with purple petals and cream coloured mouth. Stigma and stamens protruding. Fruit a capsule, carried on long stalk. Leaves lanceolate and sessile. Covered in dense hair below. Stems covered in long white hair and grows from centre of plant. Found in semi-shade in well-drained soil. Scattered.

20 cm high; Shrub; Notes: Tiny shrub, 20 cm high, scattered. Light purple flowers carried on 2 cm long stalk from axil of leaf. Cream coloured centre, pistils and stamens. Leaves alternate, sessile and lanceolate. Leaves and stems covered in long white hair. White sandy soil next to road.

Shrub; Notes: Tiny shrub, 15 cm high. Stems light brown. Leaves opposite, clustered, lanceolate with entire margins. Pink flowers carried in bundles, 5 petals, cream coloured pistil and stamens. Common in white sandy soil in shade.

6 m high; Tree; Notes: Tall tree, 6 m high. Leaves alternate, bilobed, 3 cm long petioles. Young shoots zig-zag growth. Stipules present. Lenticels on young shoots. Bark light brown and smooth. Cream coloured flowers with 4 petals. Flowers in spike inflorescence. Common, grows in white sandy soil.

1 m high; Shrub; Notes: Small shrub, 1 m high. Stems woody. Leaves opposite, obovate, velvety. Flowers carried on tips of plant, white petals. Grows in stony to sandy soil.

Creeper; Notes: Creeper. Stems green and rough. Tiny yellow flowers, 5 petals. Leaves ovate, opposite, very rough to touch, petiole 1 cm long. Fruits long elliptic shaped, usually in pairs of two. Two lobed and naked. Have tapering tip.

Leaves have oblique base. Yellow flowers with deep red centre. Slightly funnel-shaped. Common. Grows next to road in stony to soft white sand.

Undersurface of leaves covered in bristle hair. Fruit a round capsule. Grows in well-drained soil on plain next to road.
