Three narrow, forward-pointing sepals, 2 broader petals forming a flat ‘roof’. 1 broad lip, pale yellow with longitudinal lines of papillae. Quite large orchids, 2-3(5) or even -7 flowers per stem. Lip colour variable, sometimes maroon coloured at the apex.
